The Experience

The Experience

Mexican food, handcrafted drinks, and an atmosphere that stays with you long after you leave.

About Us

In historic Burro Alley.

Looking for a Mexican restaurant near the Santa Fe Plaza? Visit Los Magueyes at 31 Burro Alley in Santa Fe, NM — just steps from one of the city's most visited historic landmarks.

In the 1800s, this corner was associated with María Gertrudis Barceló, better known as Doña Tules — a legendary Santa Fe figure, entrepreneur, and saloon owner whose name still lives in the city's folklore.

Today, Los Magueyes brings new energy to this historic alley with Mexican food, margaritas, mezcal, classic cocktails, and an atmosphere made for lunch, dinner, celebrations, and nights that turn into memories.

The Place

The food matters.
The drinks matter.
But people return for the place.

The conversation, the lighting, the table, the mood, the memory. Not loud. Not generic. Not forgettable.
